Oracle Functional Lead
MUST HAVES:
Would be great if candidate could write integrations or perform
PL/SQL coding but they will not need to write code. While they
won't be building integrations, they must be able to read and
understand code.
Role is approximately 60% functional / 40% technical. - Great
communication across the org.
Experience with encumbrances is required.
Must have a strong understanding of high-level hierarchical
organizational structures.
OTBI
Day-to-day/The Project:
Define and configure financial modules such as General Ledger (GL),
Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA),
Cash Management, and Tax Management. Align system architecture with
financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance
requirements.
They will help when customers are requesting customize financial
dashboards for budget tracking, encumbrance monitoring, and expense
approvals for reports, dashboards, and workflows using Oracle BI
Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI.
Custom Reporting
Trouble shoot ticketing issues around payroll or help build reports
that require coding.
TOP REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have Senior level experience of Oracle Cloud experience.
Sr level experience in Oracle Fusion Financials
SQL reporting, OTBI
Exp around managing hierarchies' approval groups, rules on
finance.
Scenario:
multiple approver groups on finance, reqs, projects and grants, (HR
understanding a plus), I expense. Need to have enough exp with
finance side to simplify and clean up the rules and create a more
simplifies process. Create rules around this.
Organization structures, they are called financial reporting
structures or or structures. Chart of accounts, approval groups,
creating value sets (all ex of financial reporting structures)
Need to be able to help with closing periods and troubleshooting
issues during closing periods between GL and projects and
grants.
Write and troubleshoot complex financial reports, resolve
discrepancies in encumbrances and funds available, year-end carry
forwards, year in period close and ensure financial workflows
function smoothly.
Troubleshoot budgetary control dashboard discrepancies.
Nice to have - EPM implementation exp. PLUS
Developing dashboards and troubleshooting issues beyond the scope
of a Business Analyst.
Experience in developing complex financial reports, dashboards, and
data extracts.
Should have strong understanding of working with integration teams
for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) components & capabilities
including all major OIC adapters and different orchestration
integration patterns providing functional documents and evaluating
the testing of this.
Know about integration with web services and APIs - Strong in
experience in API, not expected to build API, but understand what
is available for financial modules.
Soft Skills:
Great communications skill, but this is customer facing, technical
abilities and the initiate to be proactive and tackle a project is
the priority.
