administrative support services of the Human Dimensions of
Organizations (HDO) Program.Responsibilities
- Accounting and Financial Services, including high-level
accounting and budget tasks to support faculty and the program with
tracking expenditures, purchasing, submitting special funds
requests, payroll, expense authorizations, and tracking
endowments.
- Human Resource Functions, including employee life cycle (for
faculty, student or temporary employees, and any full-time staff),
supervise any student workers or added staff, familiarity with
Workday processing functions, act as department timekeeper and I-9
partner, maintain personnel files, and oversee promotion process
for faculty and staff.
- Department Management Functions, including facilities
management, communication and social media contact, support of
mentorship and undergraduate community-building programs, maintain
and develop community contacts for support of internships and HDO
379 placements, attend all meetings and trainings that support the
program (both on-campus and off-campus), support and collaborate
with Director, event planning and oversight, serve as community
liaison for special projects and student placements, support alumni
network, liaise with staff from Extended Education Ventures program
to support the HDO MA program, and other duties as assigned.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree with at least five years'
management experience within a large organization. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and strategically with little
supervision.Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate.Preferred QualificationsExperience with an academic
program (graduate or undergraduate). Proficiency with Microsoft
Word, Excel, Workday and FileMaker Pro.Salary Range$57,000 +
depending on qualifications.Working ConditionsTypical office
environment with occasional weekend, overtime, and evening work.
