A Prominent and award winning Community Hospital in Southern Texas is looking for its new RN Director of Care Management. This facility is looking to add a progressive minded and highly motivated individual to lead its case management department.
This facility has been serving the surrounding area since the 1940's and is looking to continue its excellent commitment to top notch care by adding its new RN Director of Care Management. The hospital has been the recipient of numerous awards from the American College of Radiology as well as receiving the Press Ganey Pinnacle of Excellence award multiple years in a row. Some of the service lines offered include; Women's Health, Surgical Services, as well as Rehab and Cancer Centers.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Director of Case Management will lead a broad range of operations in Care Management (CM) and Utilization Management (UM). Supported by an experienced Case Management Nurse Manager and Utilization Management Coordinators, join and lead a department that is already operating smoothly.
The new RN Director of Care Management will lead operations around providing the highest quality care to patients, while also maximizing utilization and the financial strengths of the hospital.They will provide progress reports to the CNO as well as create and manage employee evaluations for staff in the Case Management Department. The Director will also be responsible for managing the budget for the department.
The RN Director will work to ensure that the department remains fiscally responsible to help maintain the facilities fiscal goals for the year. The director of Care Management will also be responsible for mentorship and development of the staff. They will act as a liaison between the staff and executive leadership to ensure their staff has a voice to share improvements and to make sure they have what they need.
Located in Southern Texas, this facility will offer the new Director of Care Management no shortage of outdoor activities.
