The Hotel Area Site Experience Manager is responsible for planning and executing site experiences at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk and the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk with both new and existing group meeting planners. This position provides support for Sales Managers in achieving group revenue goals for the Hotel.

Responsibilities:

• --- Coordinates and executes all site inspections/visits at both properties with priority emphasis on Remote Sales Managers
  
  --- Partners with the Sales Managers to secure business for both hotels
  
  --- Coordinates and plans all Familiarization Tours (FAM) t and in-market customer events
  
  --- Represents sales department at staff meetings and stand up meetings and reports out on sales activity
  
  --- Coordinates site visits and partners when appropriate for in-market sales managers
  
  --- Partners with account/selling manager to develop creative aspects of site visit
  
  --- Gathers all important customer data from account/selling manager in order to plan appropriately (e.g. customers goals, specific needs, key account info, etc.).
  
  --- Develops site standards and pricing guidelines in order to control Department expenses and allow for accurate projecting
  
  --- Understands competitor's strengths and weaknesses in order to differentiate Hyatt from the competition during the site visit
  
  --- Provides expert knowledge on local destination (e.g., local attractions, events, etc.)
  
  --- Tracks bookings and leads generated from site visits
  
  --- Verifies that the business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery
  
  --- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
  
  --- Meets with walk-in clients and qualifies lead for account/sales manager
  
  --- Greets site clients and escorts overnight guests to their rooms
  
  --- Acts as Personal Concierge to client while on site to help coordinate any special requests.
  
  --- Assists with all transportation requests for sites and meets client upon arrival.
  
  --- Entertains customers by showing them the property and key locations surrounding the property
  
  --- Provides after-hours entertaining for customers
  
  --- Coordinates and delivers amenities and welcome note to guest rooms

  Qualifications:
  
  • At least 2 years working in a sales or event planning role, preferably in a hotel
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Schedule availability requirements are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm -and occasionally working in the evenings and on weekends
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledg eTenacious and sales oriented
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence
