Academic Medical Center, is the Department of Defense's largest

Center for the Intrepid.--Medstaff National Medical Staffing holds
the
government contract to provide Anesthesia Services at--Brooke
Army
Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX.-- Our
contract
provides for program coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.--
Providers--- work
schedules vary from 8 to 17.5 hour shifts daily.-- Malpractice is
through
the Government.The contract requirements are:

-- -- -- -- --Requires Board
Certification by ABA
-- -- -- -- --Hold any unrestricted
State License and DEA
-- -- -- -- --BLS Certification ---
by American Heart Association
-- -- -- -- --5 out of the past 10
years of General Anesthesia experience
-- -- -- -- --5 years of experience
in managing cardiac, pediatric, critical care and trauma
patients
-- -- -- -- --Minimum 4 years of
direct involvement in anesthesia residency education with
experience as a
resident mentor or core faculty member
-- -- -- -- --Be able to perform a
full range of anesthesia to include, but not limited to cardiac,
thoracic,
vascular, burn and neuro anesthesia, as well as pain management
