Hospital: Methodist Hospital Location: San Antonio , TX Unit: CVOR (703) Classification: RN / CVOR Shift Detail: Building/Floor/Suite information of unit: General Information Shift Details- Pl ease correct information below if needed: Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift/Workdays: 11a-7p Weekend: Rotating - On Call Call Requirements: Yes Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years + Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Documentation system: Meditech 3-4 patient assignments, travelers will be asked to care for admission holds Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Heart Experience BLS ACLS - facility requirement PALS - facility requirement 2+ Years of Hosp/specialty experience Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Heart Experience Pediatric Heart Experience Intra-Aortic Balloon pump experience Adult Heart Transplant Cell Saver Peripheral Vascular Meditech Experience Preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE - temp license will NOT be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Coronary Artery Bypass Surgical Valve Replacements Adult Heart Transplant TAVR Pediatric Hearts Thoracic/Lung procedures VENTRICULAR ASSIST DEVICES Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color RN: Facility will provide scrubs Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible.
