TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78233 Pay Information $1,622 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Orthopedics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights (19:00-07:00) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: NIH Certificate, BLS Must-Have: Chest tube management, Neuro assessments Job Description: - Unit: Ortho/Neuro/Oncology, 5th Floor - Number of Beds: 30 - Staff: 59 total, including day and night shifts - Patient Ratios: 5/6 patients per nurse - Equipment: Transfer sliding boards, Hoyer lifts, C-collars, Post-op shoes, JP drains - EMR System: Meditech, Airstrip - Preferred Skills: Chemo med certification, ACLS, EKG interpretation - Procedures: Wound care/vac, post-op total knees/hips, central line/Foley and drain management, chemo administration (for certified chemo nurses) - Floating Areas: May float to Med-surg, rehab, Telemetry - Dress Code: Professional navy blue scrubs - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend 12-hour shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights) - Best Personality Fit: Compassionate, positive, accountable, integrity, team player, flexible, solution-driven Please read and sign the Unit Standards of Care prior to starting the contract.
