-Dietitian Nutritionist II -to join their dynamic team at the UT
Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital in San Antonio, TX. -UT
Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital recently opened in
December 2024. It is the only University of Texas hospital in the
region, ushering in a new era of hope and healing through advanced
procedures and precision cancer therapies grounded in innovative

Licensure What You'll Do:
- Work on various patient population floors with multiple disease
states, including critical care
- Experience in nutrition support is preferred -
- Be able to perform nutrition-focused physical exams, and
provide nutrition support recommendations and nutrition education
as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes on an ongoing
basis
- Participate in departmental, clinical, and other meetings

- Be a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian
- Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction
results and driving process improvement activities.

understanding nutrition strategies to support and improve quality
of life and clinical outcomes.

Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework
and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council
for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those
eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's
degree with completion of required coursework and supervised
practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in
Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets
eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
(RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will
become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or
facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of
hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In
some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is
required at the time of hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3
years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal
supervision
