TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78229 Pay Information $1,483 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Proficiency with Meditech Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to patients in a 32-bed medical-surgical unit. - Collaborate with a team consisting of charge nurses, nurses, patient care technicians, and unit clerks. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6. - Utilize and manage equipment such as IV pumps and vitals machines. - Follow electronic medical record protocols using Meditech. - Perform hourly rounding and adhere to AIDET communication standards. - Exhibit a flexible, caring, and compassionate attitude with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the unit. - Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled. - Provide care in various medical-surgical areas as needed. - Adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs.
