Job Title: Chemotherapy RN

Pay: $38-$43 an hr - Bi-weekly

Job Type:

Onsite in San Antonio, TX

Shift Options:

M-F 8 am - 5 pm



Chemotherapy RN Overview:

Direct Patient Care: Perform thorough physical assessments of patients to establish baselines and identify any changes in health status.


Treatment Administration: Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician.


Patient Monitoring: Assess and monitor therapy of patients using appropriate technical skills, including reviewing pertinent laboratory data.


Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care with both internal and external entities to ensure seamless treatment and support.


Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and strategies for managing symptoms to promote understanding and adherence.


Symptom Management: Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management, providing timely interventions and support.



Chemotherapy RN Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience - Chemo experience required. *Candidates do not have to be certified, but we need nurses who can start work and have knowledge about hanging chemo.
