We are looking for a vibrant, bilingual, Certified Medical Assistant to work in a locally owned family practice environment at Southside and Medical Center based facilities. This is a team oriented, fast-paced, and patient centered practice.

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years' experience with a strong preference for Family Practice. Candidates without 2 years' experience MAY be considered based on education, employment, and professional background.

Strong preference for bilingual candidates with EMR knowledge (eClinicalWorks). As a Certified Medical Assistant, under the direction of our provider(s), you will welcome patients, obtain medical history, obtain vital signs, perform ancillary services (EKG, PFT, injections, diabetic education, etc.), and assist the provider(s) during exams and/or treatments. Candidates will dispense medications with provider approval and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Candidates will interact with commercial, Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans and develop knowledge of chronic care management, HEDIS and Quality Metrics.
