WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Oversee the daily operation of the Retail location, maximizing its budgeted net profits to meet cost of sales and labor expense guidelines while ensuring the Six Flags Mantra is implemented in the area. HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

• Oversee the daily operation of assigned area and maintain operating efficiency.
• Accountable for Cost of Sales and Labor Expenses associated with each location within assigned area.
• Maintain proper staffing levels in assigned area daily, including interviewing applicants.
• Assist Personnel FT Supervisor with Departmental Classroom Training and any follow-up training. Oversee On-the-Job Training for all assigned area employees.
• Complete seasonal employee schedules within established time frame.
• Conduct evaluations on all Team Members and Leads in assigned area and forward to the Personnel FT Supervisor within specified time frame.
• Coach and counsel employees, using corrective action and/or retraining to employees not meeting Six Flags and departmental expectations.
• Motivate all employees to perform to the best of their ability.
• Preparation and assistance with annual inventory for all assigned locations.
• Ensure adequate staffing in assigned locations during peak times, having a sufficient number of registers open.
• Execute price changes given by Inventory Controller within specified time frame ensuring all product is priced accurately.
• Add and maintain Zone Signage appropriate for each wall/display.
• Develop and maintain visual merchandising plans for each assigned location.
• Rotate floor product and window displays giving Guests a fresh look at items.
• Attend all required park and departmental trainings.
• Perform all responsibilities of the Retail Team Member, Lead and Team Leader positions.
• Ensure that all safety goals are reached, Safety Audits are turned in weekly and that all Safety Guidelines are followed. WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Possess a positive attitude and an outgoing personality.
  • Previous Retail experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Willing and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with direct guest interaction.
  • Ability to operate a Point of Sale register
  • Ability to attractively setup, stock, and display merchandise
  • Must be able to sit stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach on a regular basis and for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, including the ability to read and write
  • Point of Sale handling departments may be required to pass a math test
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays OTHER NOTES:
