As a Security Officer - Shelter Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more . Our Patrol Officers are committed to maintaining a secure environment within shelter locations by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This unarmed position requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of the duties. Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Our team-oriented approach and commitment to integrity help us put people first in all interactions, fostering a caring culture that prioritizes the well-being of those we serve. Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AMResponsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.Minimum Requirements:
Must have an armed designation for applicable roles.Must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Perks and Benefits:
