MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and
Disorders
Licenses: Valid Texas SLP License

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Speech Language Pathologist(SLP) at AIM,
you'll play a pivotal role in transforming lives through effective
communication. Your responsibilities include:
Planning and providing individual and group therapy aligned with
IEP goals
Evaluating student progress and determining readiness for therapy
service termination
Conducting independent evaluations to assess eligibility for
services
Participating in ARD Committee meetings for appropriate placement
and goal setting
Collaborating with teachers to enhance communication skills through
classroom activities
Offering professional development to school personnel on
identifying and understanding communication deficits
Effectively communicating with colleagues, students, and parents
about therapy goals
Creating a conducive learning environment suitable for student
maturity levels
Coordinating ongoing evaluation of speech-language pathology
services and implementing changes as needed
Assisting in the selection of equipment and instructional
materials
Compiling, maintaining, and filing all necessary reports and
records
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Maintaining emotional control under stress
Daily attendance and punctuality are essential
Regular district-wide travel; involving standing, stooping,
bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, heavy lifting, and moderate
carrying
May involve lifting and transferring students with physical
disabilities
