CNC Machinist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts according to specifications. As a CNC Machinist, you will work with a variety of materials, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce precise parts and components.


Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately manufacture parts.


Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.


Inspect finished parts using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet quality standards.


Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain proper machine functionality and part quality.


Follow all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.


Maintain accurate production logs, including parts produced and machine performance data.


Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and address any challenges that arise during production.


Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and machines are properly stored and maintained.



Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.


Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and tooling.


Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.


Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.


Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


Strong commitment to safety practices.


Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training preferred.



Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.


Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
