Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Repair Technician to maintain and repair dies, ensuring efficient production of stamped parts without defects. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, grinding, and fabrication of die components. This role involves working with various machining equipment, handling press repairs, and operating overhead cranes for die transportation.

Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding, stick welding, grinding, and machining to repair or modify dies.
Skilled in die maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, repair, and reassembly.
Experienced with CAD-based systems, leveraging Shop Bot routers and CAD drawings for precise task execution.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical schematics, and detailed drawings.
Adept at operating and maintaining equipment such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and CNC machines
Use milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders for die component fabrication.
Safely operate overhead cranes for die transport.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3-6 years of experience in tool & die repair or a related field.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with welding, grinding, and machining equipment.
