Be a True Builder.The Robins & Morton Project Director provides exceptional leadership on our various sized projects, helping to support the R&M team and collaborate with clients and all who are associated with our projects. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing a large project, multiple small to medium projects, with primary responsibility for managing the client(s) and R&M resources associated with those projects. All of the prior will be done in conjunction with and under the direction of the Operations Manager/Vice President.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

• Establish structure and organization management of assigned project(s)
• Take an active assisting role in development of business for the company with new and existing clients, achieving individual corporate sales goal as determined by the Operations Manager.
• Assume the lead role in management of preconstruction services for all assigned project(s) with only oversight from the OM.
• Manage resources to maintain project schedule.
• Manage cost reporting and tracking system, and accurately forecast costs.
• Manage and report on projects and portfolios.
• Establish billing procedures and effectively manage trade partner/GC/Owner billing process.
• Effectively manage closeout of assigned projects.
• Manage overall profitability of assigned project(s) to meet established company profit objectives.
• Develop and maintain owner, designer and client relationships.
• Develop relationships and trust, generating new business opportunities.
• Monitor the overall corporate management of assigned projects to assure profit is maximized; schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15-20 years' proven experience in senior level project & people management.
  • Ability to manage independently large-scale projects in excess of $75 M or multiple $10-50 M projects
  • Good written & oral communications, specifically able to speak before all project partners.
  • Advanced analytical and reading skills.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
