Job Description:
A company is looking for a Tumor Registrar, CTR Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain data abstracting and reporting to the Massachusetts State
Cancer Registry
Review and analyze medical records for relevant cancer data and
classify demographics, primary site, histology, stage, and
treatment
Prepare information for research studies and Tumor Registry Annual
Report under the guidance of the Medical Director
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's Degree and 3 or more years of related experience in
Health Information Management (HIM) and data abstraction
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pathology, and
physiology
Exceptional skills with computer navigation and data entry
Tumor Registrar Certification (CTR) preferred or to be obtained
within two years
